I have a computer that is totally dead, the system powers on and the CPU fan starts spinning. After this the system is dead. i have removed the battery, tested RAM individually, and unplugged everything apart from the basics. Im about to swap the PSU over now and see if that is the cause.
Any other words of advice ? |

Update : Added new PSU and the computer now turns on for about 1/2 a sec and then goes off

Yeh must be, I have eliminated everything else. All apart from taking the mobo out of case. That could be shorting it but its not been moved or anything so I doubt it.
