PC build

Your hard drive seem to be rated good but i am not positive that is the best brand. Also, you need a power supply to, i am not sure if your case came with one but if u get a high graphics card, then you need a good power supply. If you get a low power supply, it will cause your computer a lot of energy needed for that graphics card, processor etc. I am not familiar with good brands for PSUs (power supply units), but i found this one, 650 watts.

As for the motherboard, that motherboard was just an example of a motherboard that you would need (not sure if it was 100% right for your specs) but just make sure your mothreboard is compatible with amd 64x2 antlon.
RAM..
If you want 1 gig---http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145440
2 gig---http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145579
Also, if this is a gaming computer, you will NEED a sound card..Creative is probably the best brand for sound cards, get a sound blaser audigy...
Here is one,

If you will install anything extra such as tv tuners or anything, get a motherboard with a lot of PCI express x16 slots so you will have room. Check with someone who is more expirienced then me to make sure all these parts willl fit because there are certain specs that have to be accurate that I am not sure of, so make sure that you know these will work.
Plus, if you wana see kick ass cases...go to
www.xoxide.com <---they have realllly cool cases and stuff there.

That PSU is a bit overkill. It's for SLI (it has 12V1 and 12V2). I would say go with something like what I have: Vortec 500W (34Amps on 12V).

if your going to have that amd processor in it with that ram and have that lame graphics card i shall spit on you and your family:) Look perhaps lower that processor down to a 3800 (the .2ghz wont really make a difference) and buy yourself a 6800 ultra, 7800gt, or the gtx depeneding on how much cash you are willing to fork out

If you can afford it, I would stick with the 4400 for the 1MB cache.

Are you a gamer?

srry i forgot to mention in my original post that i have already bought a new psu that runs my 6800 just find, over 500W i believe, i do plan on buying another package of Corsair 1g ram, and i do play games such as WoW, F.E.A.R., and BF2, and i do plan on getting a western digital 250g hd

What do you consider to be a kickass graphics card for that amd processor, oh and btw i had bought that card b/c my mobo that i currently have doesn't support PCI-E, only AGP and that was the best i could find for my PC AT the time

alright thanks everyone for all your help, i now feel very confident on all the parts that i will need for my pc. thanks again to all that helped me out, greatly appreciated
