Default password protect folders

how do u put a password on a folder so no unwanted eyes can view it...i wana put a password on my msn chat log folder

But can't you simply create a password for your XP account, and everytime you idle for fifteen minutes or so, let it automatically change to the login screen?

yer but i let ppl on my pc if ther round my house n i let em on my account so i jus wana put a password on it so like if im out of the room or sumin
