Default Re: Partitions

so what exactly does this program do besides manage the partitions, I dont format that often, so would it be worthwhile?

It manages (changes sizes), creates, snd deletes partitions.
It wouldn't be useful if you didn't use partitions no, but would be useful if you wanted to create one at a later date yet didn't want to have to do a whole format again to do it.

as well as having all these partitions you have the oppertunity to be able to run more than one set of windows.
ie windows xp on c: main windows
windows xp on e: test windows this is for trying programs out if you dont like them you uninstall.but it is better to do this on e: rather than c: drive as then c drive is kept clean (reasonably anyway)or if you wanted you could run any windows you like you can run 95/98/2k/xp its your choice.

There is two good porgrams to partition. One of them is mentioned above and the second one is the Acronis Disk Direktor. It has WIn XP interface so it will easy to handle with it.Also it works much faster than Partition Magic.
