Default overlock amd 64

how far can this amd 64 3200 winchester go? can it do 2.6ghz with a good psu? IT should be able to do 2.6 on default cooling. I dont feel like wasting another 300 on venice core since i just bought this winshester recently.

If you do overclock only go 20% or so.

argh....buy an after market cooler!!!!! the worse thing is that your new winnie is gonna fry. Then go into the BIOS and play with the FSB, Voltages, HyperTransport, Multiplier and stuff like that. I would use a calculator to see what speeds im getting. ITS FSB*MULTI=CLOCK SPEED.

If I have your CPU, I would stick at 2.4GHz. I'm sure it can do 2.6GHz, but you're really pushing it especially with stock cooling.
