Overclocking your vid (ATI or nvidia) card!!!! How to do it easily!

Heh.. Whenever I OC my Gcard.. nothing happens. Its funny.. I go from like 324.00mhz core, to like 475mhz. And I dont see any boost in performance at all. Lame.. I mean its the x300, o, if I take the core any higher It crashes, and also, the memory is at like 180mhz, and if I take that over 223mhz, it crasehs. Talk about a lmae card!

Alright well i have an ATI x850 Pro (its agp) The core on it is fine as it is (500 mhz) but thats also the memory speed. Is it safe for me to bump it up 100 mhz? or even 200 mhz? and if i turn up the fan speed, will temperatures drop?

That would be making the core or memory clock rates go faster then what origionaly made at the factory.
