Default overclocking questions

how do you overclock a cpu,video card? what else can you overclock and how do you overclock them?

What are your specs? what kind of cooling do you have? For cpu oc'ing, you go into bios, and adjust the clock speed there. For the video card you can either go, for nvidia that is, into settings and adjust the speed and for ati you can download programs that help you adjust the speeds...

amd 64 3500+

cooling system that came with the cpu. (should i get a better cooling system for oc'ing?)

Well.... you should... I mean, with water cooling you can easily push your cpu past its limits... try going into bios first... and looking around. What video card do you have?
