overclocking question(s)

I OC'd for the first time, put the RAM down to 166 Mhz then brought up the FSB 34 steps... i got my AMD athalon 64 3000+ venice up to 2.02 Ghz

well to my questions:

am I doing this correctly?

what is a save CPU temp?

and i was wondering if i bought better RAM (currently using 512 dual channel valueRAM by kingston, aka all i could afford at the time) if i would get better results?

When you OC and its running all yoru programs and not overheating you have a successfull OC. Dont worrie unless it shuts off all the time and bugs out on your when your do a mem test or 3D mark tests.

ah kay, what about the temp? is 34 idle and 41 full load good?
