Default Overclocking my 7600GT

How can I overclock my EVGA 7600GT? I go to control panel and my friends who has the same card has an overclokcing feature, but he said he downloaded it somewhere. Anyone know what is it?

Get the Coolbits registry and merge it in yours. the Clock controls should be there.

i did that too...except when i changed either the clock or core speed, it said, "Nvidia has to test your settings to make sure they are compatible" and it won't let you continue without doing that. So once you do it, it says, "These settings are not compatible with your system, try lowering the speed until it works"

problem is..i lowered the settings from what they were at, stock, and it still says lower.........whats wrong?!

And, I don't really know what he meant by merging it to yours, but the instructions are very simple.
