Exclamation

its capable of 2600+
This requires a bios flash and a new 2600 cpu.
Overclocking is like doing 60 in first gear, you decide.

Its an AMD; the number 2600 means that is the Intel equivilent, not the processor speed. The processor speed is supposed to be 1.67Ghz; not 2.6Ghz.

Yes just like my AMD Athlon 64 3200+, which only runs around 1.78GHz with 2.0GHz max. The 3200+ is suppose to be equivilent to Intel's 3.2GHz processor.

The AMD 64 3200 runs at 2.2Ghz; but yes, thats the sort of thing it means.

I am not expert but to overclock a processor isn't done by ajusting the voltage.

Yeah; I wish I had a Pentium! The FSB, the Cache, the Name, the Power. If only they had made 64-bits Mid-December 2004! Oh well, not too long now!
