Hi, I have an AMD 5200+ Dual Core and I would like to know who has ever overclocked this CPU and how far?

higher the voltage and the best you can get is a little over 3ghz. High Athlons don't overclock that well.

Possibly, but probably not. The system will shut down before damage occurs.

Yes.

not always true. If you push too much voltage through it, it will kill the chip over time. Sometimes it will happen within a month, sometimes longer. And also, too much voltage can also kill your chip instantly. Even if you use LN2 to cool it. It all depends.

I bet you could take it up by about 200-300 mgHz. I have done that on mine, and it runs fine. (even with stock hsf, temps are cool)
