ok, i found a lil info on my comp, my mobo is a VIA K8M800 SKT 754.

P4 2.4GHz, 1.5Gb, 40Gb.
PowerBook G4 867MHz, 1Gb, 60Gb.

Just up the HTT and lower the HTT multiplier so it stays under 800 (HTT x HTT multiplier) If unstable, add more volts. Rinse and repeat.

To stable test, use Prime95, and let it run for a long time. Most people think 8 hours is enough.

For temp monitoring, I would use CoreTemp or Speedfan. One thing with CoreTemp though, some people are having problems with it crashing their PC, me included, so I use Speedfan. They read the same temps for me anyways.

Now that you have changed the multiplier, try changing the fsb speed. You might be able to get a stable 2.35 ghz then.
