Default Overclocked my 4000+ are these temps o.k?

Ok my first overclock has gone ok. lots of instablity at the start but that was to be expected. i didnt want to go the full sha-bang as i cant really afford a new cpu. so im happy at 2798 which im calling 2.8Ghz. From 2.4 thats not bad in my eyes and is now as fast as a FX57. i have run Prime95 on the torture test for about 8.30hrs and no errors so im taking it as stable. my question is that the max temp that i sawwhen running these tests was 54 degrees celius. it was leveling out at 52 when on full load, is this pushing it to much? the idle temp is about 38. im using motherboard monitor 5 whihc from what i know is very good at monitoring temps.

EDIT: heres a pic of cpuz:

I'd say as long as the full load temp doesn't exceed 55 degrees celsius, you should be fine. So my word would be to leave it alone now, because you are about at that 55 degree mark when I tell people to back down.

ur chipset is running at 49c? thats pretty high if u ask me...as far as ur temps go that should b ok, maybe u should get a new heatsink, i am guessing ur using the stock? the lower the temps the more stable and....better :P

You should try and keep your processors temp under the tcase max. Like mine is 55*C

I use SpeedFan for my temperature recording software. I can also adjust the speed of my fans accordingly. Here's the link:

My CPU is getting a new heatsink hopefully SOON. Dad never has time to order it:

Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 PRO.

I've heard it performs the same as the Zalman and even a bit better in places for alot cheaper.

But 52 degrees C load isn't bad. The chipset could be a bit cooler though.

The good thing about the Arctic Cooling is that it has a design that cools the chipset of the board too.

Whats your case fans like?
