OS help!

Ok I bought an Os from a friend who said the old computer it was on crashed... I think he may still be using it. I own the CD and the key and another key that I am not currently using is this legal?

Are you using the key he is using? If you both are using I don't think it's legal, but if you're each using different keys but installed from same CD then it's no problem. If he's not using and you are it's also legal.

If you're key is unused then you can enter it when you install Windows with his CD.

That's not the issue.
I think the point being he paid money for it so the other bloke should not be using a key that he sold to somebody else.
