They are both the same, So either one would do but if your going to be gaming I would go for something much better.

Yeah it's the same GPU. it's not the same PCB and cooling design though. it will not make much of a difference in performance sense they are both low end gaming cards. i have a Asus DirectCU2 cooling design on my GTX 770. that makes sense since that card draws more power and get's hotter then your chosen 650.

as BK stated you might want to get something a little better or at least a step up TI version of the 650

You could also take a look at GTX 650 Ti BOOST and see if it's something that you want. (Although I think the logical choice then would be going for GTX 660, which is a better card, and not that far off price-wise.)
