Well, what do you want? the PC has windows if so it will be more easyer to install games becuase ALl games support Windows, if you want OSX than yes it plays games but most games wont work unless a emulator, but if you get than it would be sweet.

The processor on the pc, well it kinda sucks..Sempron heh..Compared to duo, to the mac is so much better in specs, but the os is what really matters in the long run. It all depends which one you like more xp, or osx..

hardware wise that mac owns that pc, its not a fair comparison at all, why would u ask us this though its clear which ones the faster of the two, u can also tell by the price difference...

Well, with the MAC, if he wants, he can use Windows anyway.

Mac, you can install xp on a partition. Its probably cheaper too.
