Default which one is better....

I am getting a lil confused....which type of dvd's are better??/

DVD-R

OR

DVD+R

Neither...Non that I know off. There just diffrent formats which some dvd-rws use...

Actually there is a huge list of differences! None of them are big enough to make a difference though. I saw 25 imation DVD+R's and DVD-R's the other day and they were the same exact price. Get a DVD burner that burns both so you won't have to worry about it.

DVD-R Better compatiblity for DVD players but its older format and slower.

DVD+R Faster and has Double Layer discs (8.5 GB)
Will not play is some home DVD players.

theres the difference.

DVD-R also has a dual layer format. DVD-R's compatibility with DVD players is a bit higher, but not really that much.
