i may have posted about this a while back but it is still bugging me. my pc will randomly crackle from the speakers sometimes. usually when i have lots of programs open. ive re formatted, updated drivers, smacked the pc, chaged the speakers etc... with no lucks. being doing it alot tonight. it was just fine then i played a utube vid and it started again. v annoying. what else can it be?

try putting a really strong magnet inside the case with the mobo

nah dont do that. Just try getting a cheap soundcard.

I had the same problem. Turns out it was getting interference from my wireless network. I moved the antenna I had for my wireless card away from the speakers, and the problem went away. Not sure if this applies to you, but it may be some form of interference.

um yeah wireless card might be the problem. interferes with my 2.4 ghz phone all the time.

i'm guessing the router is wireless right? because a hard wire router wouldn't interfere that at all.

its wireless yes. ive moved it away and seems great so far. cheers .... ill see how it goes

ive put it on top of my other pc thats near this pc. its close to my second speaker but not that close. just had another crackle. was a much shorter one.
