Default Okay..my turn..!

Hey, I need a laptop for college, and there is one in my local shop..specs are..

AMD 3100, 1.6Ghz
1GB RAM
100GB HDD
Built in camera..2MP!
Built in wireless..mem card reader, etc..

For, 549..

Will that last me a while, or should I spent that little extra, and get a DELL with dual core? Need opinions guys! Thanks

i don't know about that laptop, but i got a dell inspiron 6400 and its excellent and fast... it has duo core with 1.86ghz and 1gb ram.. and assume video card and can handle gaming... and can get about 4 or 5 hours of battery out of it during normal use

I'd spend a lil more for the dual-core. It'll last you for a lot longer!
