Default ok whats wrong

ok i just got a few old computer and one was custom here are the specs

ibest 400w psu

elitegroup K7S6A mobo

about 1gig of ddr333 ram

gforce 3 video card

ibm deskstar 60gig 7200rpm

2 optical drives

there is a red light that is light on the mobo
the screen doesnt turn on is it the mobo or the video card

I think if it is not beeping then it is likely to be a fault with the motherboard.

Either that or a video issue. If you have onboard video try to plug the monitor into that.

doubt its video because there would be a beep code, usually a long followed by 2 short ones.

Could even be RAM, I've seen Bad RAM cause no beeps on startup, but there is still a good chance it's the board.

Try removing and reseating all components such as RAM, video card, CPU, etc.

The red LED is telling you the motherboard is receiving power from the PSU. It doesn't mean the PSU is good though.
