Default OK new issue

I had an issue earlier with "the blue screen of death" now i get a thing saying: "Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\STSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM You can attemy to repair this file by starting Windows Setup using the original Setup CD-ROM. Select 'r' at the first screen to start repair." He doesn't have the Setup CD-ROM at all.....so I dunno

Can you get as far as the f8 boot menu? (press f8 to bring up a menu after booting)

Try it and see if you can boot to last known good config or safe-mode.
