ok, i messed something up.

So I just reformatted my laptop (HP Pavilion zv6000) and installed XP SP2, instead of the Vista 32-bit that I had earlier. Now my problem is I cant connect to the internets!

And we all know how horrible that is.

Also my screen resolution seems like it is off, in the display properties I can only choose between 1024 x 768 or 800 x 600. (15.5" screen)

I'm mostly concerned about the internet because I can get used to the odd resolution.

I can connect just fine when ethernet cable is plugged in from the router, but the wireless is not working at all.

When I first bought the computer it just found the wireless connection in my house, and the same thing when I originally installed Vista.

But now it is being difficult, does anyone have any idea how to get it to work?

If I need to clarify anything please let me know.
