Default OI, need some help.

Ok so i have this lappie of a friend, and no program works at all. DXDIAG brings up an error that says that system 32 folders are missing, yet the hard drive is mostly full so they must still be here on the HDD. but yet the lappie boots up fine. like normal. IDEAS?

Try going to start -> run and type in:

sfc /scannow

That will check the integrity of protected windows files, and maybe fix some problems.

If that fails, you may want to do a windows repair install of the corresponding OS.
