no no ArrizX its all about 8 Opteron 885's. And fill all the RAM slots with 2GB modules. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820146576
heheh and get a couple of the new seagate 7200.10s. http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=1896
750GB hard drives with a crazy fast seek time. Almost on par with WD Raptor. hehe. That would be a killer folding machine

Dream computer would be:
AMD X2 +4400
8gb Ram
Motherboard (Nice one )
X1900XTX
And a OS that took advantage of it all.
Oh and The ThermalTake Tsunami decked out with red glow wire inside and a logo spray painted on side.

Why 8gb ram though?

And you cant have a mobo that will support 8gb ram with also a 4400+. Anything more is for servers.

2gb of RAM is good enough for today's games and apps.

True, but this is for the best computer.

Anyways, when should we end the building and then vote on the builds? Or should we even bother?

I guess we can just let everyone ramble on and on about what they think should be in the dream computer. Haha, I guess this could be the "Official CF Dream Computer Imagination" thread.

If you go on the DELL website, you can get up to 64GB RAM with Windows.
