Hey everyone!

I bought The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Game of the Year Edition. I realy would like to play the game with best settings and i have tried it. It works well, thou sometimes it laggs and its a bit annoying =/

I went to a computer specialized store today and asked a little that is it my processor (AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+, MMX, 3DNOW (2 CPUs | according to my knowledge it is a 2.2 GHz dual core =D) or video card (NVIDIA GeForce 7500 LE) that is causing the lags. They told me that Oblivion demands alot from your video card and they said that my processor should make it fine, but the video card of mine is almost too old.

So now im thinking to get an new video card that could run Oblivion at the best resolution and other settings without lagging. What would be a good video card for this? Or do i need to get better processor aswell?

Dont mind the prices, ill talk about them with my parents :D

Thanks in advantage!!

LOG and Rohan gave you some great choices at the difference price points, if your resolution isn't very big, 1680x1050 or so, then the 4850 should be just fine, and it's cheaper...

you're welcome in "advantage"...
