Well I like nVidia better but ATi is stil great and just because of my personal oppinions doesnt mean nVidida is better. That would be very immature.

You need EVEIDENCE people. "Oh yea mans the benchmarks show that the 7800 is better but um, I don't have a link... yea...." ROFL

first of all.... since wen r Intels better at video editing than AMDs????

and well im a hardcore video editor not a gamer and i am looking at a AMD 64 X2 4400+ with an nvidia 6800GT (maybe change to 7800GT)....

Nice way of contradicitng your "7800GTX is better because it shows in the benchmarks".

P.S Give me a link to the benchmarks before I believe it's any better.

Some ppl (myself included) posted loads of benchmarks in that other thread which was quite much about this same subject. Though it was a while ago. And just by using google u can find loads. I don't have time right now, but I'll post some links later today.

edit: here is 2 articles including lots of benchmarks. As I said, 7800GTX 256mb and x1800xt are close to eachother, and the 7800GTX 512mb version is the best.
