Default Nvidia Physx?

i did this thing, and installed the 177.41 drivers
http://www.computerforums.org/showthread.php?t=73761
i was wondering if this includes the nVidia Physx, or should i go to the nVidia site and download the software for it.
the games that i play that supports physx are MOA Airborne, and GRAW2

Did you install the drivers from the site I recommended? Or from Nvidia's website?

i installed the 177.41 from the http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/...p?showforum=94 site, and when i extracted it, i put the modded INF in the folder.
then uninstalled my nVidia display drivers, rebooted, and use the driver cleaner in safe mode.
then rebooted and installed 177.41 with the modded INF.
is the 177.xx drivers better than the others listed on the site?

Nevermind, that site's drivers are zipped and the modded INF is provided, whereas the drivers from Nvidia's site come in the .exe form.

The way you did it was correct, although I prefer Driver Sweeper.

Now run Vantage and take a look at your CPU score.

Did you install the physics driver 8.06.12?

When you install the Physics driver you'll end up with a start menu item called nvidia corporation, inside it is the nvidia physics properties icon, when you click that you end up with the console below, navigate to the settings tab to check that physics is enabled.

Rumour is that nvidia will release a WHQL driver on Aug 5th for cards that are currently not supported (G80 core onwards only supported at present iirc)

nope, a G80 core nvidia video card (or later) will do, you must have a nvidia driver later than the 177.35 and the nvidia physics driver 8.06.12 as well though.

As I posted earlier the rumour is that the earlier cores will be supported in the August 5th driver release from nvidia
