Default Nvidia FX 5500 --> Ati radeon hd 4200

Ok so i need to find out if i already have a Nvidia FX 5500 in my computer, will it be ok if i were to switch it out with for a ati radeon hd 4200 (i know it isn't the best card but it is just lying around) if you could know for certain that would be doing me a huge solid.

If I'm not mistaken the ATI Radeon HD4200 is an onboard chip and the nVidia FX 5500 is an AGP card. However, if the Radeon is also AGP (you figure this out by looking to see if the connector is the same as the nVidia card) then you can switch them. Make sure to uninstall nVidia drivers and install ATI drivers if you make the switch.
