Default Nvidia Drivers

I've forgotten the proper procedure to updating my drivers. Someone please clue me in. I've downloaded the v186 for GeForce 9 series, but I have forgotten how to remove the old drivers to put new ones on. If I remember correctly the Nvidia installer should do it for you, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Yup, just go into Add/Remove Programs and uninstall them from there. If you want to completely erase all traces of them, run Driver Sweeper.

Just updating my 9600GT. Don't want to get rid of my board drivers.

Thanks Tkey and AR. BTW, when the hell did you get 9k post? about a month ago I was congratulating you on 7,500 posts.

Yup, it works the same way. When you run the uninstaller, it will ask you which drivers to uninstall.

I guess I hit 9k last night.
