Default Nvidia 7600GS

Hi
I wanted to upgrade from my 6200 but I've been told that my cpu is too slow to get that enough of a benefit from doing so....Amd 2800+(2.0ghz)...1.28.gb of ram...Win Xp..Is This so?..

Well, it seems OCed, but what's the actual model? AMD Athlon XP, Athlon, Athlon 64?

If your comp can handle it DO IT! If you have the 7600GS you can play ALL games ( that I'm aware of) and at mostly there highest settings.)

i'm assuming that that your running an xp at 2.08ghz (if its anything higher i'd definently do it), i have one with a 9800xt and a gig of ram and it will run most new games at least on medium. personally if your planning on keeping the comp for awhile, i'd say go for it.

The GT is a better choice if not too expensive. Also what kinda 12v rail power does the card need? thats more important than the watteage requirements.
