Nvidia 240GT vs 260GTX

Just a quick few questions, which card is better value for money, the 260GTX costs about double what the GT does.
if anyone knows a how these two cards preform in comparison, maybe someone knows how much better FPS in any game the GTX gets over the GT.
Or any other relevant info regarding the card.
Or maybe an ATi card beats them both?

The 260GTX is by far a better card than a 240GT by a lot. Then Radeon 5850 and 5870 are also excellent cards also. If you have the extra cash flow and your psu can handle it, I would go for a 5870, I ordered 1 and waiting for it.

I think I'll go with the Radeon HD 4890, i can get it for under $200 which is almost $150 cheapers than the next best card the GTX 285, it's also according to the chart the fourth best card on the market. seems like the best value for money.
Does anyone have any reviews about the card, doesnt overheat, breakdown? etc.

you should be fine. u shouldn't have any overheating issues if ur not oc'n it. hope u like the card.
