Notebook shopping

I am shopping for a Dell Notebook and I am aware that Windows Vista comes out January 31. Will they launch a new line of notebooks around here?

I am looking for an Inspiron, and am hoping for a price drop when a new lineup is released. When will the new lineup be released? When are notebook prices the cheapest? thank you in advance
