Default Which notebook processor do I have?

I'm a little confused about which processors and can and can't use in my notebook. I have an HP Pavilion dv2000, wich a Intel Core Solo. I want to upgrade to a core duo. I guess my question is, will socket M processors work with my motherboard, or only socket 749 (or are they the same thing?) Any help would be appreciated.

i think youll find that it would be either impossible or very hard and expensive to upgrade a notebook processor

Yes, you could run a core duo in there, but the problem with that is, the processor might be soldered to the board, and you could not do that, plus the price is in order... here is the one of the cheapest one i have found new:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819111177

It is a core duo 2.16ghz

if it is soldered to the board, very hard to take it out.

are most notebook processors soldered to the board? I would most likely have it professionally done if i were to.
