there are no extra pipelines to unlock. or vertex shaders.

and getting a fan better than the stock fan voids your beautiful LIFETIME BFG warranty. SO that's not a good idea either.


Make sure all Antialiasing and Antisoptric Filtering are all off. THose slow down 3dmark.

However, check that all fans are running correctly.

While running 3dmark, check to see what temperatures ur getting on your vid card and CPU.

anywhere around 5200-5400 is about right, definetly something slowing it down. Be sure everything is hooked up right, it might be overheating, or maybe you just got a bad card.

If its its brand new all the more reason it could be bad. Like they said, check all the fans and temps.

I also ran tests on 3DMark03 and it gave me a score of 7368

thats bad you should get at least 10k on 3dmark 03. thats what i got with 6800gt and 2400mhz amd 64

I get around 4000ish with my 6800GT and FX-55 non-overclocked.
