Default not enough virtual memory?!? wtf!

i'm trying to run some of my older games (ms golf 1999), but it says i need 32mb of free virtual memory to run. i have less than 200 used of 2457.

I think virtual RAM is different to physical ram... might be wrong though.

Have you tired restarting the PC and trying a reinstall? it might reset and problems that might be going on.

Isnt Virtual memory the Paging file.... maybe you dont have a paging file set on ur drive...

Right click on My Computer, Click properties.
Go under the advanced tab and click the settings button under performance.
Now go to the advanced tab in that and click the change button in virtual memory
Click on what ever harddrive you want it on
Click on custom size
Fill in 2048 for the Minimum and 4096 for the max
click set
then ok and apply

should ask you to restart

Try changing ya page file Start > performance and maintenance > system > advanced tab > performance settings > advanced tab again, its the virtual mem one at bottom
