I have just half recovered from two bad crashes on my desktop and laptop. Luckily the desktop where my main info resides I got back through dos. The alien ware laptop is going back. This I am 99.9% sure is down to Norton Go back. Go back seems to crash and slow the system and when it recovers it once or twice you think what a great program. My advice to anyone DONT install it. After speaking to a number of tech supports they said they have had loads of people like me with Norton GB problems
When I searched forums for problems none were found... they said most people when they fix a problem dont bother writing about it. I had so much stress (due to being an idiot and not backing up properly!) I thought people better know.
Anyone else had boot problems that they thought Norton GB sorted? chances are Norton GB caused them.
