Default no subtitles?

Hi well i just got nero and a new dvd burner and i wanted to burn a show that has sub titles but in order for the subtitles to work it needs the .srt file and i was wondering when i burn it do i drag it along with the video or does the sub have to be in the video its self?

nvm i got it figured out, i just dl a new program called convertxtodvd and it adds the sub titles for u.
