no signal...again

today i decided to reapply all the thermal paste in my comp in hopes of a few degrees drop in temperature, so i took everything out and reapplied it all with no problems and installed everything back in, so i start up the comp and i get no signal on my monitor at all, this has happened before and all i did to fix it was reseat the graphics card and it worked again only this time ive done that about 10 times now and its still not working, any suggestions? i know its getting power because i can feel it getting warm so its got to be some other problem

well after googling the problem i found that this is actually quite common and is a problem with the dvi connection, so i plugged in a dvi to vga adpater and used a vga cable and now it works...is there anything i can do about this?

That's wierd. It might fix itself after a while, mine seems to do that..

I've had this problem once, What i did was forgot to put back in a psu to mobo connector which was graphics card power!
