Default No passowrded docs?

Well, I have a vista premium OS, but I found on the help feature that there is no way to password protect documents. I do not know, but is there a way I can hide my docs so my little siblings don't get into and mess with my things?

You can make them hidden files and then to get to them, go to Tools>folder options>View and select "Show hidden files and folders", when you want to hide them again, click "Do not show..." To hide the files, right click it and hit properties, then click "Hidden". You can also hide them somewhere within your hard drive like somewhere in the program files... Make a folder and make it seem like it's a random folder that's named a bunch of random letters and numbers... I have no idea how to password protect documents though.

I googled "Password protecting files in vista" and I got this website with a program that supposedly does it for you
