no keyboard error no keyboard connected

my computer has no keyboard folder in the device manager i have been using the onscreen keyboard for almost a year i tried a ps2 keyboard and still nothing ive tried restarting the computer with the keybord in a different usb port no change i looked in the device manager and dont even see a keyboard folder there anybody knows how to fix this?

try to scan for hardware changes.
you do that in the "action" tap in the device manager
