no internet options

just got the computer back from the hospital for virus removal, i click on tools/internet options and i get a message saying that there are restrictions on this computer, contact system administrator, how do i fix that?

Are you logged in as the same user as you were before they got it? That or try to log in as the admin if you aren't already?

actually when the logon thing comes up i just click it off and continue, this is windows 98, how can i change the setting that is keeping me from internet options?

u never thought a upgradin? u do realise ur runnin an os thats 7 yrs old now

yeh try making sure that you are on admin otherwise just reformat and backup everything first.
