Were going to be using his old case and haddrive (PATA) so thats why i didnt list those too. This is a build my friends doing, i'm just their to make sure he doesn't poo it up. Figure i'd post the parts here to see if theirs something i overlooked before finally buying the parts. Any comments regarding compatability issues, and, Bad or good personal experinces with any of the hardware is also greatly appreciated!

Everythink looks really good except for the Value RAM. I mean, it will work perfectly but I like to match it with the good parts I'm getting. Also, get 2x512MB and dual channel it. Has he considered dual core?

That power supply is pretty good. I just ordered my PSU just now off of Newegg. I got this:

Weekend Sale
ASPIRE ATX-CW500WP4 ATX 500W Power Supply 115/230 V UL, CSA, TUV, CE - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817148027

Simply because it was on sale and had really good specs for the price.

dual core is going to cost another $80. And he wants to get some monstrous fans, like a 120 mm for exhaust that moves 100 cfm, and two 80 mm for a the side and top that each move 70 cfm of air. And as for the ram he was going to get two of those value stick rams. I'll talk to him about upgrading to some higher quality memory.

It's mainly the dual channel I was concerend with. Even if he want to stick with ValueSelect RAM by Corsair, at least get 2 of them. Better efficiency.
