So my girlfriend came across a pretty decent computer for $100, $200 after a power source and terabyte hard drive. Right now it has an I5 750, I'm not sure about what kind of board it is though. Should I be able to install a sandy bridge on the same board if the 750 can fit? Very new to this and just taken in with the power of this computer and want more!

Ok, so let me try again. Got a new computer and it has the quad core I5. Can I just swap the I5 for a sandy bridge without changing anything else?
