Default New Video Card and RAM

Welp, the other day while I was WoW'n it up my video started glitching out. I opened my case and felt my video card and it almost burnt my fingers touching it. The fan was running and everything. Soon after i lost all video, yey, burnt out video card. I was running an evga 6800gt and now I get to upgrade, yey. I was wondering on what everyone thought about the Evga 7950gt

im running an Asus A8N-Sli Deluxe

550watt psu

Im also wanting to upgrade my RAM since i only have a gig of 80$ kingston. What would be the best RAM to stick into that mobo in about the 170$ range. Thanks for any help or comments.

Default Re: New Video Card and RAM

you burnt up a 6800?? dayum. well IMO the 7950gt is a rip off. i would buy the 7600GT just because its so damn cheap since the 8800 came along.

for ram i would suggest looking into some OCZ.
