looks good. Though i'm more of a fan to the Nvidia Chipsets, Intel's P45 is an excellent chipset, especially when combined with the ICH10R. I've never used Gigabyte's stuff but based on reviews/specification/prices - I like them! Post pics of teh build .

I'm going to save you a bunch of money.

First, drop your heatsink in your list. Get this one instead. It's cheaper and performs better.

Drop your monitor and get one of these two. Same things but way better. The second one will let you go up to 1900x1200 and will let you fully utilize the power of that 4870.

Lose the RAM and get this kit. Same company but cheaper. You won't notice any difference in speed for everyday use.
