you might want to build a better one...

what is your exact budget and where do you live. Is tigerdirect your only choice?

ok don't log off i am making a build as i type

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119189 A nice branded case... I am guessing you don't want anything to flashy for a home pc.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103244 A Quad core cpu will be nice when you want to photo edit. Its also good if you have an occasional game you like to play or a new game you must have

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148288 A 500 GB hardrive will be more than profiecent

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813157141 i have heard only good things about this MOBO

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820161277 Nice Quick RAM for this build

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817182044 A sleek looking power supply that is more than enough to power this build. It also gives upgrade room

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130437 A nice budget card at a low price

it comes up to $488.93

What OS will you be using?

Since he's not gaming, he could just use the 790GX's onboard GPU and save some money here.

i might wait to get the video card, i've been playing half life every week for 10 years, its rare that i do end up playing anything newer than NFS. but i do alot of photo editing and i'll probably get that same card later so i can use the dual display function in lightroom
