Yeah thats what i mean... n yeah.... hmm.........

I'm sure a new protection scheme would come into play...maybe a way of cutting off power to all the boards if one fries (Think of christmas lights...though that'd stop all of them from working completly until its fitted again...pararell ones then...they still work if one goes ), or somehow dissconnceting the power on the boards if the motherboard goes. So some sort of unlinked power technology... Or just a very big insurance scheme...

If you get a UPS, they often come with guarantees, often worth tens of thousands of pounds, to any hardware plugged into them, im sure a supercomputer would have one of these

Yeah thats prob what they use.... I have heard of them but didn't think they were just plug in and play machines with anything plugged in. Kewl hehe
