haha, 01001010, You have got to change you avatar back. I can't take you as seriously as I used to. Either way, He can spend it on what he pleases. We can only suggest that he buy something that suits that cost a bit more.

i'm getting pretty much the same system from newegg for only 3000 (with a sound card, a second 4890, no liquid cooling though not a big deal tho)

also can you post links to the liquid cooling system and the lcd tempeture monitoring fan contoller? plz looking at getting something like both of those.

also i would recommend getting a simple card reader they're pretty usefull

Hey Grant, most guys here will be able to out bench that rig with a simple $1,200 i7 rig, I sure know I will.

Just something for you to think about. Be my guest, waste 4.5 grand of your parents' money. Sounds pretty moronic to me, but hey whatever rocks your boat.
