Looking for good speakers around the 80 USD range. my altec lansings pooped out on me and i need new ones.


I'm looking for preferably 5.1's.

Can anyone point me in a direction?

want some really good bang for the bucks.

are good too... but those altec's are pretty nice.. I have to admit. Good wattages from both of them, but, frankly, I say go with the altec's. Of course, if you could just spend a little more, possibly save up...

would easily over take those altec's... but for the money and the 5.1, yeah, altec's are fine.

With shipping fees added on to Newegg's order, it still comes out cheaper than if you were to have it delivered through Tigerdirect though. Tigerdirect America will charge you $32.50 for freakin delivery!!!! As compared to Neweggs's measly $9.24, wow..

I bought the Logitech x-530's and they've worked great for me so far..
and I do quite a bit a gaming and yeah... I would recommend them.

altec vs. logitech. WHich one is better?

Same. Logitech has just always performed well for me (I'm getting these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16836121120
) so yeah... I could've gotten the altec pro's but these just sounded a lot better to me... and I have quite a musical ear so yeah.
