Default New processor

I just started looking for a new processor, because my laptop came with a intel celeron M 1.3 and i am not really happy with its proformance. I was looking at Pentium 4 2.4A Prescott 533MHz FSB Socket 478, and AMD Opteron 244 SledgeHammer 800MHz FSB Socket 940. Will these work, and is hypertransport something i should consider. any suggestions are welcome but keep the price below 150. popwer compustion isnt a really big deal to me.

You want to swap your laptop's processor? Hm...buy a Pentium M instead. You can get them for retail.
